A Lythous room: daylight, a sunrise mural, low seating in a circle.
01 / Welcome
Welcome to Lythous Also known as a Lighthouse node

We begin with the person you are.

The world often begins with a problem.
We start with you.
Your life, your circumstances, what matters to you, and who you want to become.

Say hello
02 / Where you are
Where you are

Recognise yourself in any of these?

  • “I don’t think anything is wrong.”
  • “Something is wrong. I can’t name it.”
  • “I know what I need. But I can’t get to it.”
  • “I’m just curious.”

One of them, none of them, or all four…
Either way, you can make contact with Lythous.
You do not need a reason. Curiosity itself is enough.

03 / Ways in
Ways in

Whatever works for you.

Student, faculty, staff, family, or somebody from the community. Anyone can walk in.

There is no wrong door and no right order. Pick whichever one you would actually use today.

04 / If you are hesitating
If you are hesitating

Are you hesitating?

  • Unsure?
  • Not sure what to say?
  • Afraid of being judged?
Nothing you need to bring
  • No preparation
  • No appointment
  • No paperwork
  • No waiting list

Turn up as you are, whenever suits you.

Common questions people have before they decide to say hello
What if I do not know what to say?

You do not have to know. “I do not really know why I am here” is a fine place to start, and you can say nothing at all for a while.

Will I be judged?

No. Nobody asks you what is wrong with you.

What if it is not serious enough?

There is no bar to clear. Curiosity is enough.

How long does this take?

No appointment and no waiting list, so come when it suits you. How long you stay is up to you.

Is there a form to fill in?

No. None of it is a form. It is what the conversation is about, over however long it takes.

Will it be written down?

You decide what you tell us. You can ask at any point what has been written down, and who can see it.

Can I bring someone, or stop?

Bring anyone you like. Stop whenever you want, and come back later.

05 / What we try to understand
What we try to understand

Whoever you reach first, they start by trying to understand more of you.

We begin by asking:

  • Who are you?
  • What matters to you?
  • What is possible for you?
  • Who do you want to become?

We do not organise care around what we offer. We organise what we offer around you.

Your life is not in separate pieces. The help you get should not be either.

  • Health
  • Mind
  • Family
  • Relationships
  • Study
  • Work
  • Money
  • Home
  • Obstacles
  • Abilities
06 / A beginning
A beginning

Not a place. A beginning.

You do not need a problem to have a possibility.

A Lythous node is not the destination. It is the moment a path becomes visible.

A Lythous node is a beginning, where people are truly seen, what has gone unseen is revealed, and what has remained disconnected is brought together.

ConnectedYou are not working this out on your own.
AcknowledgedSomebody knows you came, and remembers when you come back.
RespectedYou are a person here, not a case.
EmpoweredYou leave knowing what happens next, and who is doing it.

CARE is how we want you to experience this. Connected, Acknowledged, Respected, Empowered.

07 / Inside
Inside our Lythous node

Come and pay us a visit.

Where to find us

Major Ram Veer Singh Shiksha Sansthan

Shikohabad · Firozabad · Uttar Pradesh

The exact building and the opening hours are confirmed with your campus when it opens, and posted here and at the door.

Daylight through sheer curtains onto low seating and a sunrise mural.
Daylight and low seating instead of office furniture.
Seating arranged in a circle around a low table.
A circle around a low table, not across a desk.

Somewhere to sit and talk. No desk between you and the person you are talking to, and nothing that makes you feel you are being examined.

Five spaces, and a door you can walk through.

Select a space to see what it is for. You are never sent to one. You choose.

This plan shows the idea, not an exact layout. Each node is fitted to the space the university provides.

08 / How it works
How it works

Five steps, and an Ambassador who is responsible for every one.

First we listen. Then we understand. And it starts with an Ambassador

  1. 01 Recognition You reach out, or an Ambassador notices and invites you. Either way, it starts with a person, not a form.
  2. 02 Engagement You talk, on your terms. In the room, or by phone, text or WhatsApp.
  3. 03 Navigation Together you work out what would actually help, and who already near you can give it.
  4. 04 Escalation If you are ever at risk, a written plan says who acts, in what order, and how fast. You are told what it is.
  5. 05 Follow-through Your Ambassador goes with you until you have arrived, and somebody checks back afterwards.
09 / Become an Ambassador
Become an Ambassador

Or come the other way round.

Some people walk in not because they need something, but because they want to be the person somebody else can walk up to.

An Ambassador is the first human point of contact on a campus. You are trained to notice, to listen and to walk in with somebody. You are not asked to diagnose anything, or to be anybody’s counsellor.

, or say hello and ask.

10 / A year from now
TodayA year from now
A year from now

One year from now, you may not be a different person. But you may see yourself differently.

You may understand what you need, recognise strengths you had overlooked, and feel connected to people and possibilities you could not see before.

A Lythous node does not change who you are. It helps reveal who you can become.

We see you.We connect you. You become.

Say hello
Ways in

An Ambassador

An Ambassador is a trained person whose job is to notice. On campus, in a cafeteria, in a bookshop, at the door of a Lythous node.

What they do

What they do not do

An Ambassador does not diagnose you and does not treat you. They connect you to the right people and stay alongside while you get there.

Ways in

A Listener

A Listener is the first human you reach. Not a chatbot, not a menu, not a form. A person.

Why it matters

At three in the morning, somebody who is frightened should reach a human being. That is the whole point of it.

Call, text or message Healthcare SMC India on +91 96346 76724. If you are in immediate danger, call 112, or Tele-MANAS on 14416.

Ways in

Walk into a room

A Lythous node is a room on campus with people in it. You can walk in without an appointment and without telling anyone why.

What is inside

Every node is fitted to the place it is in, so no two are the same.

Ways in

Online

Walking into a room is a lot to ask of some people on some days. You do not have to.

Call, text or message and you reach the same people. Where a campus has a virtual Lythous node, you can start there and come in later, or never come in at all.

Whatever your comfort is, that is the right way in.

Ways in

Someone you know

You do not have to be the one who makes contact. A friend, a classmate, a teacher, a warden, a family member, anybody in your community can start it with you or for you.

Faculty and Ambassadors work together, so a teacher who is worried about somebody has a real person to take that to.

About

Healthcare SMC-Geneura

We build human infrastructure: the connection between the people and services already around a person, rather than another service beside them.

How it fits together

Healthcare SMC-Geneura LLP is the authorised India operator and licensee of certain intellectual property, technology, systems, methodologies and brands of Geneura AI, Inc., USA.

Trust and safety

Where the boundary sits

A Lythous node is not a clinic or a counselling service. Nobody who walks in becomes a patient.

If someone is in immediate danger

Call 112 for emergency services anywhere in India. Tele-MANAS, the national mental health helpline run by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is 14416, free and open day and night in twenty languages. KIRAN, the national mental health rehabilitation helpline, is 1800 599 0019.

If someone is at risk

A written protocol covers anyone assessed as being at risk. It names who is contacted, in what order, and how quickly.

What is recorded

The full statement on what is recorded about a person, who can see it and how long it is kept publishes with the site.

Right now

Get help right now

If you need someone right now, do not hesitate to seek help. These lines are free and open now.

Naming notice

Lythous, formerly known as Lighthouse

Lythous is the current name for the Geneura Human Infrastructure system and deployment architecture previously referred to in certain materials as “Lighthouse” or “Light House”. References to those names in prior Healthcare SMC-Geneura materials refer to what is now known as Lythous.

They are not two different systems or programmes. If you arrived here from a poster, a billboard or a QR code that said Lighthouse, you are in the right place.
